What stays on your computer, what we hold, and why. Written to be read.
Summary
We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not send marketing you did not ask for. To ask what we hold about you, or to have it deleted, email info@aramoai.com.
What stays on your computer
Everything to do with your media: the source videos, the transcripts, the analysis, edit plans, rendered clips, your music library and project settings. None of it is sent to us.
Motion Graphics videos are written, designed, scored and rendered on your computer too, and the product description you type for one is never sent to us. One part can reach another service: if you choose the natural voice, the narration text is sent to Microsoft's Edge voice service to be spoken. Choosing No voiceover keeps everything on your computer. The typefaces ship with ARAMO and the music and sound effects are made on your computer, so nothing else is fetched.
If you connect YouTube, TikTok or Instagram, the sign-in tokens for those accounts are stored in Windows Credential Manager on your computer — not on our servers. The app's diagnostic bundle, which you can create and send to us yourself when asking for help, contains redacted logs and system details and never footage, music or account tokens.
What we hold, and why

ARAMO Mobile
ARAMO Mobile is the phone app that shows how the edits on your PC are going. It never handles footage either. Your PC sends our server a short status summary, and your phone reads it back after you sign in.
What the summary holds: project names, the editing style, the stage and percentage reached, whether each clip passed its quality checks, clip lengths and file sizes, which platforms a clip was posted to with the link to your own post, error messages with any file path or link reduced to a file or site name, the counts behind the statistics screen, and your PC's ARAMO version, video encoder and free disk space.
What it never holds: video, audio, frames, transcripts, caption text, file paths, or the link you imported a video from.
Your PC only sends the summary while a phone is signed in to your account. You can stop it on the PC under Settings → ARAMO Mobile, which also removes the last summary from our server. A summary that has not been updated for 90 days is deleted, and a phone that has not checked in for 120 days is removed.
For each phone we keep a random installation identifier created by the app, the phone's model and system name, the app version and when it last checked in. If you allow notifications, we also keep a notification token and which notifications you turned on. Notifications are sent through Expo's push service, which hands them to Apple or Google to deliver. Each one is a short line naming the project, such as that its clips are ready or that a post did not go through. Signing out on the phone removes it from your account.
The app shows no advertising and contains no analytics or tracking.
This website
- Hosting. The site is served by Cloudflare, which may record aggregate, privacy-preserving page statistics without cookies. Your approximate country is read from your connection only to show an indicative price in your own currency.
- Our own visit counts. If you arrive from a link we published, your browser keeps a small note of which link it was in local storage, not a cookie, and sends us a daily tally. We also count steps on the page — for example opening the checkout, the demo film starting, or turning on its sound. No IP address, identifier or fingerprint is stored with these counts, and they never include your email or card details. You can clear the note by clearing site data for aramoai.com.
- The demo video. It is served from aramoai.com itself, with no outside video player, cookie or request. Unless your system asks for reduced motion, it starts without sound when it scrolls into view, and it pauses when it leaves. The link to the full walkthrough opens YouTube only if you click it.
- Badges. The TrustedSite security seal is loaded from TrustedSite, and the Product Hunt badge image from Product Hunt, when the footer is shown.
- Meta Pixel. To measure our advertising, this site uses the Meta Pixel. It records page views, reaching the pricing section and starting a checkout, and Meta may set its own cookies to do so. It is never given your email, name or card details.
- Purchase reports to Meta. When an order is paid, our server tells Meta a purchase happened, with the amount, the currency, and your email address and name hashed (SHA-256) so Meta can match it to an ad you saw without receiving them in readable form. You can limit this in your browser's tracking settings and in your Meta ad preferences.
Who else sees it
PayTabs processes payments. Our email provider delivers receipts, reminders and replies. Cloudflare hosts the website and the contact form. Meta receives the advertising measurement described above. If you use ARAMO Mobile with notifications on, Expo and then Apple or Google deliver them. Nobody else receives your information from us, and we never sell it.
Your choices
Email info@aramoai.com to see what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Deleting your account ends your licence and cannot be undone. Cancelling a monthly plan stops future charges; you can do that yourself from the link in any receipt.
Changes
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes too.
